Everybody's learning how....
In an attempt to make up for my slacker blogging of the last week and the pathetic end of summer vacation weather, I will now share some sunny day photos with you to brighten your day.....
Survivordad's windsurfing group had a family picnic/teach your kid to sail day last weekend. Lucky for all of us there was still fab weather to be had and everyone wanted a little piece of the action. Henry, not surprisingly, was the most into it of our kiddos. Here is his dad's shining moment....can you see the tears in his eyes?? "My boy....on my board (sniff, sniff), uphauling the sail"...and then comes all the technical lingo I don't understand....
Out for a spin around the lake.
The girls, just for good measure.
And lastly, this one that I really love though the exposure is off...it's all in the pose....fingers crossed that the sun comes out again for our last week of summer vacation....it's trying to peek through right now!! Woohoo!!

There is nothing better than sun in Seattle. But icky weather makes it easier for the kids to want to go back, good weather means they would rather be romping around like whirling dervishes.

Love the photos! The light on all of these is very cool, and your kids are so darn photogenic. I can't believe how big Henry looks!
