So I know this is early but since I really want to give away some goodies, I thought I better start now in order to keep myself organized and on track!
This year I really want to be able to do something special for all those fabulous moms out there. What I know, from my own personal experience, is that a lot of times (ok, ALWAYS) it is mom behind the camera and you end up with no photos of yourself with your kiddos. So I decided to have a contest AND offer up a special deal. Here's the important info:
- Today I will be posting a bunch of my favorite "mom" shots and when you leave a comment, voting for your favorite photo, you will be automatically entered to win the prize...a "mom mini session".
- The "mom mini session" will include a quick shoot (around 30 minutes) at the location of your choice, for you (the mom) and your kid/kiddos, on a mutually agreeable date, a sneak peek on the blog, with 10-15 proofs in an online gallery, and a print credit of $15 for an 8x10 print of your favorite shot.
- You don't have to be a mom to win because you may gift the session to the favorite mom in your life...hint, hint dads!
- The winner will be drawn randomly from all the comments by my "special selection committee"...very official, a la Price Waterhouse and the Oscars!
- Also, the mom whose photo earns the most votes will win a print credit for an 8x10 print of her winning photo...so all you moms, feel free to stack the deck and round up all the votes you want...though people may only vote once, please!
- The voting will conclude and the drawing will take place on Sunday, March 15th, sometime before my "special selection committee" goes to bed.
- The "mom mini session", as described above, will be available to everyone during March and April for $75...woohoo!

Let the voting begin!
So I'm entered into the contest simply by voting, right? It doesn't matter who I vote for? Because even though I think my picture is just adorable (I mean, look at that handsome boy!), I feel a little funny voting for myself. So I'm trying to round up my friends to vote for me instead. :) But in the meantime, I am going to vote for #8 because I think that's a beautiful shot.

They are all so beautiful, how to decide? I particularly like #8, but I think that mommy probably gets enough special treats from you :) So, I'm going to officially vote for #2--I love the colors, and I have a special spot for older kids too!

I'm voting for #9. This picture reminds me of the mornings with my kids. They all are in bed with me and the hubby and they are the happiest they could be. I also, love the way the light shines on the Mom & baby and how happy they are!!!

They are lovely. I really like #7. No only is it a newborn but it captures the joy a mother feels when looking at that little face. Complete adoration!
